Description

Core Course

This upper-advanced French course is a continuation of French III.1. The intention is to further expand their proficiency in the language. Interactive lectures encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independence, while a variety of texts stimulate critical reading and discussion. Audio-visual and web-based resources will deepen students’ understanding of French and francophone socio-cultural environments. Separate discussion groups will foster oral expression and debating skills. Students explore AI tools for writing, reading, listening, and speaking, assessing their utility in real-world contexts. Through guided tasks and debates, they evaluate AI’s strengths/weaknesses in oral and written communication, fostering a reflective approach to technology for advanced language proficiency.
