Italian I

Core Course

This introductory course combines ITAL1001. Italian I.1 and ITAL1002. Italian I.2. It does not require any previous knowledge of Italian. Students enrolled in this course are guaranteed a place in both ITAL1001 and ITAL1002. Students will acquire basic linguistic and communicative skills in Italian with a balanced emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing. Small tutorial groups, arranged in addition to the regular language classes, will provide students with an environment highly conducive to practicing their language skills.
