Description
Core course
The aim of this course is to develop the students’ communicative competence in all skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) towards a B1.1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). The course design integrates general competences (sociocultural knowledge, intercultural competence) as well as communicative abilities, including linguistic (grammar, lexical) and sociolinguistic (forms of address, register, etc.) competences.
Utilizing a task-oriented methodology, this course will guide students to navigate real-world dialogues and collaborative scenarios. To facilitate personalized engagement between students and teachers, six hours of weekly instruction are delivered in small-group settings, fostering a highly interactive environment.
This course continues implementing the same AI tools as in SPAN2001 to enhance the learning experience and to support autonomous practice. In conversation sessions, students will be guided on the effective and ethical use of AI as a support tool for brainstorming, scripting, and refining a collaborative short-film project.
