This talk explores the relevance and challenges of Orthodox Christianity in contemporary society. It examines how Orthodox faith and traditions adapt to and coexist with modern cultural, technological, and social developments. The discussion highlights the enduring spiritual principles of Orthodoxy, such as community, tradition, and divine worship, while addressing issues like secularization, religious pluralism, and modern ethical dilemmas. Attendees will gain insight into how Orthodox believers navigate their faith in a rapidly changing world and the ways in which Orthodoxy

continues to inspire spiritual renewal and moral clarity today.


Dr. Augustin Sokolowski, Russian Orthodox theologian from Switzerland, specialist in systematic theology, theology of dialogue between monotheistic religions and ecumenism. Doctor of Theology from the University of Fribourg, Fr. Augustine specialized in the study of theological hermeneutics at the universities of Geneva and Regensburg.
