[Jan 19] A Talk with Holocaust Survivor Peter Gaspar

Holocaust survivor Mr. Peter Gaspar will be delivering a talk at HKU on the following date:

Date: January 19, 2024 (Friday)

Time: 12:30pm

Venue: CPD 2.37, Centennial Campus, HKU

Mr. Peter Gaspar lived in Prešov Czechoslovakia (present-day Slovakia), as a child. Born in 1937, he survived the Holocaust by hiding in people’s homes. Mr. Gaspar will discuss his experience during the Holocaust, his being sent to Theresienstadt, a Nazi transit camp, his liberation by the Soviets, and his eventual emigration to Australia.
