Speakers' bio:

Athena Lee is a Consulting Manager with 7+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance, and risk advisory across Asia. Leveraging her Korean Studies background, she has led multiple Korea-based audits and compliance reviews, bridging cultural and communication gaps with native stakeholders. Her Korean proficiency has enabled more effective fieldwork, smoother collaboration, and deeper insights—demonstrating how language skills can open doors to cross-border opportunities and regional leadership roles.

Wang Junlin graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor Degree of Economics & Finance and Minor in Korean Studies. She currently works at ISS-STOXX, an index company owned by Deutsche Boerse Group, as an Associate (Korean Speaking) in Corporate Actions Team. Previously, she worked as an Equity Research Analyst at a hedge fund in Seoul and obtained the qualification of Certified Investment Manager awarded by Korea Financial Investment Association.
