New Taught Arts Postgraduate Programme offered by the School of Modern Languages and Cultures:

The Master of Arts in the field of East Asian Studies, examines the political, economic, cultural, and social experience of East Asia, with a focus on Korea and Japan. It focuses on East Asian international relations, cultural studies, and intercultural communication, while also placing East Asia in a global context. Students will be taught by leading scholars in the field. Students are expected to have already achieved an advanced level of study in the Japanese, Korean, or Russian language. This programme prepares students for further study at the PhD level in a variety of Arts field or advancement in the professional job market.
