[Nov 17] Loy Krathong Festival

Date: November 17, 2026 (Tue)
Time: 17:00-19:00
Venue, XR Space, CRT-4.35, Run Run Shaw Tower, Centennial Campus, HKU
Every November, Thailand’s waterways glow with thousands of floating krathongs; beautiful candlelit offerings that symbolise gratitude to the Goddess of Water and the letting go of past misfortunes. The Loy Krathong festival brings people together to celebrate love, hope, and new beginnings. This year, the spirit of Loy Krathong returns to HKU! Join us for a special celebration where you can craft your own krathong!
Come for the culture, stay for the friends!
